Cassie Rotman, CFP®, CDFA®, MBA

Cassie is a Boston area native.  She joined Northwestern Mutual in 2018, bringing with her an expertise in wealth and investment management from her days at BNY Mellon and Windhaven Investment Management as well as a unique strategy mindset from her days as a management consultant with Deloitte. Cassie has been a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional since 2010, holds the Certified Divorce Financial Analyst™ designation, and has an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management.  She co-founded the Power 10 Advisory Partners team with her father, Ralph. With their complimentary expertise, they are excited about how much more than can do for their clients together, including planning for the next generation.

Cassie’s specialty lies in developing comprehensive financial plans and leading Power 10’s Wealth Management team. She is also a member of the Boston Estate Planning Council and has a unique ability to understand the role of insurance planning as a piece of the estate, legacy, and tax planning puzzle. She also works with many businesses and business owners, bringing a strategic lens she developed as a consultant.

Cassie lives in Boston with her fiancé, Ben, and black lab mix, Gema. She loves to travel and even spent a year in Spain with School Year Abroad and studied abroad in China. She loves to be outdoors and when the Boston weather allows, Cassie can be found rowing on the Charles River in the mornings. Her past as a rower and a Captain of Colgate’s Division I women’s rowing team was the inspiration behind the team’s name, Power 10.

 


John DiRuggiero

John partnered with Cross Coastal Advisors in 2015. After successfully growing his business at Commonwealth Financial Group in Burlington, Vermont, he decided to relocate to Boston, Massachusetts to continue the expansion of his planning practice. Currently, John leverages his extensive professional network to benefit his dynamic client base, which includes business owners, corporate executives and individuals actively engaged in private equity, hedge funds, venture capital, real estate, and real estate private equity. He continues to demonstrate his enthusiasm for comprehensive planning and values his work implementing progressive investment and risk management strategies on behalf of his clients.

John recognizes that financial planning can be an emotional journey. After experiencing the sudden death of his mother during childhood, John understands firsthand that being properly educated around financial planning strategies is vital to a person's future financial independence. John’s experience makes him an excellent resource as he guides his clients in preparing themselves for life’s next steps and uncertainties. He seeks to properly educate his clients through recommending circumstance-appropriate financial strategies while connecting with them on both a professional and personal level.

John currently resides in Boston with his girlfriend Emily and dog Juniper and enjoys hiking, mountain biking, traveling and engaging in new business opportunities. John has visited 46 out of the 50 United States and is also a proud Eagle Scout.




Jonathan Pierre

Jonathan Pierre is a Financial Advisor with The Bulfinch Group. Jonathan (JP) joined The Bulfinch Group in 2018. JP got into this business to serve others — positively transforming their lives. It is his instinct and passion to help people. Blending his passion for helping others with the need for sound financial servicing, JP is able to serve and impact countless people, their families, small businesses and future generations. His approach to financial services and insurance planning is holistic; every aspect of his clients’ lives and their family’s lives are important to him, and he wants to educate and inspire them to take control of their entire financial world.

JP is driven and inspired daily by his mother, a single parent who raised three children: Jonathan, his brother and late sister; spending over 30 years cleaning at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center to support the family. Despite their financial situation, his mother’s priority has always been to serve others.

JP earned his B.S. in Economics from Boston College and enjoys giving back to his alma maters, mentoring students of color at Boston College and minority students at the Boston Public Schools. Since JP started his practice, he has qualified for Guardian Life’s prestigious Leaders Club as well as earning numerous Client Builder awards. JP

has built a thriving practice serving clients beginning their professional journey through clients on the cusp of retirement as well as business owners. His practice is built on strategic alliances with center of influence and a strong client base that generates a large number of referrals. Given JP’s motto that he is “running his own race,” his service-focused mindset has allowed him to grow a thriving practice of well over 100 raving clients and hundreds of thousands of premium on the books.” JP is committed to empowering clients and having a lasting impact on their families.

JP resides in Boston with his family and is very active in The Abundant Life Church in Cambridge, as well as utilizing his gift and talents to uplift minority communities that have been underserved. He also regards Doc Wayne Youth Services as one of his favorite not-for-profit charities.   



Ryan Wagner

Ryan is in his 8th year in the business, and has experienced unprecedented success. He is currently with Robert Fine & Associates.  He specializes in management of risk and capital resources, as well as financial efficiency and tax strategy, with specialized knowledge regarding the needs of small and medium businesses.  In his first year at Northwestern Mutual, he was a “First 40, Second 60” recipient. In his 6+ years with Guardian, Ryan has qualified for Guardian’s Client Builder Diamond, Client Builder Tier 1 and Client Builder Tier 2 awards, received for extraordinary client acquisition and service, in his first 90 days, first year, and first two years respectively. In addition, Ryan has qualified for Guardian’s Leader’s Club, MDRT, and the Disability’s Next Generation and Inner Circle Awards. In 2017, Ryan was recognized by the Worcester Business Journal as a 40 under 40 honoree. 

His path to success is a unique one. Ryan grew up in a very rural part of Connecticut and comes from very modest means. He regularly shares how his parents’ struggles with money included electricity being turned off and cars being repossessed. As he got older, this inspired him to lead a different life, and to help others in similar situations as his family.

Ryan is married with two young boys, ages 6 and 5, and lives in Boylston. He is active in a leadership capacity in multiple Chambers of Commerce and charities including Autism Speaks, Rebuilding Together, and MS Society. He competitively races sailboats in summer in addition to golfing and skiing in the winter and is an avid sports fan.
